Assisted Living Concepts
Our development team was responsible for the management, design and construction of fifteen facilities throughout Texas over a two-year period. These fifteen projects were based on two prototypical, one-story buildings: 1) a 36-unit, 27,000 S.F. facility and 2) a 50-unit, 32,000 S.F facility. Each facility was designed around a common courtyard providing privacy and security to the residents. All buildings contained commercial kitchens and laundry facilities, as well as common dining, living and activity areas. Retama Health Care Facility This one-story, 60,000 S.F., 150-bed nursing home is located on six acres in Harlingen, Texas. The project is composed of 80 semi-private and private rooms, a commercial kitchen, laundry facilities and common dining and social interactive areas. The project was constructed in a ten month timeframe at a cost of $3,744,000. This building was completed on behalf of Living Centers of America. Sterling House of Greeley Single story assisted living with 42 private and companion apartments in a variety of sizes. Sterling House was designed and built to provide the comfort, beauty and privacy you’d find in your own home. The innovative design provides private apartments as well as charming, home-like community areas for socializing, dining and entertaining. Private apartments are available in a variety of styles and sizes. Sterling House is an intimate, single story building which makes all community areas easily accessible for individuals with limited mobility. Crossings at Pueblo This project is a three-story, 45,000 S.F., 67-unit assisted living facility located in Pueblo, Colorado. The design of this facility includes dining, living and activity areas. A commercial kitchen and laundry facility are located on the ground floor of this linear designed building. The project was constructed in nine months for a cost of $3,500,000. Gardens of Westlake The Gardens of Westlake two-story assisted living facility located in Greeley, Colorado contains 48-units, a commercial kitchen, dining rooms, living rooms and activity areas. The 32,300 S.F. building was constructed in ten months at a cost of just over $2,000,000. This building was completed on behalf of Living Centers of America. Winslow Convalescent Center This 119-bed nursing facility is located in northern Arizona. The project contains approximately 48,000 S.F. in a single-story design. The total construction cost of the facility was just over $2,500,000. Signature Place This project was done in conjunction with the facility in the deed restricted multi-family section mentioned earlier. The 208-unit facility consists of two four-story structures connected by a single-story administrative facility. One four-story structure is dedicated to personal care nursing units. The total development cost was approximately $18,500,000. |
